    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The Senior Fraud Engineer is responsible for engineering the Telecom Fraud security controls and integrations with NOC Operations systems to minimize fraud risks and fraud loss NOC and Field. This position works with the IT and Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering teams to ensure secure and resilient systems integrations. This role is the subject matter expert (SME) for fraud security controls and systems and provides guidance for vendor selection. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

    In this role, you will:

    • Ensures the Fraud Security technical system applications are maintained and operational.
    • Assists internal teams for fraud investigations and provides status reports regularly.
    • Keeps abreast on industry trends and changes in security/fraud systems.
    • Develops, reviews, updates, and maintains Security/Fraud Investigation policies and procedure manuals in compliance with regulation and laws.
    • Develops technical security controls and methodologies to support Fraud Security and ensures they are adequate, maintained, backed up and supported
    • Oversees the technical security control and process selection, integration and maintenance
    • Manage and coordinate Fraud Security projects to mitigate threats and risks to the organization’s operations, assets, and data
    • Ensure information security systems are functional and maintained
    • Responds to inquiries and requests in a timely manner
    • Adheres to all policies, procedures, expectations, laws, and regulations

    Skills, Experience and Requirements

    As a Senior Fraud Engineer, you will have:

    • Bachelor’s of Electrical Engineering or related discipline desired

    • 5+ years of experience working within the Wireless industry on either the carrier or vendor side of the house

    • 5+ years of Information Security hands-on technical experience

    • 3+ years of Fraud security control experience

    • Ability to implement innovative solutions in a timely and reasonable manner

    • Knowledge of enterprise Information Security methods and procedures

    • Knowledge of Telecom fraud security controls

    • Ability to adapt and manage frequent change, delays, or unexpected events

    • Knowledge of methods for evaluating, implementing, and disseminating IT security procedures

    • Technical Engineering and Technical Architectural design experience

    • Cyber Security certifications preferred, such as from certification groups such as GIAC (SANS), ISACA, Offensive Security, ISC, EC-Council

    Salary Range

    Compensation: $87,500.00/Year - $125,000.00/Year
