    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    As the Senior Business Development Manager - Strategic Partnerships, you have a keen eye for creating new opportunities in this new technological landscape. You flex your networking muscle, display market expertise, and close complex deals to drive revenue growth for OnTech Smart Services.  

    This Senior Business Development Manager role will be tasked with building new relationships with strategic partners across several verticals, including electric vehicle installation home insurance providers. Experience and relationships in these spaces will be critical to their success. 

    Communication and collaboration are your forte, as you: 

    • Drive new logo wins and significant revenue growth in target accounts.

    • Cultivate new and existing relationships with senior executives in Tier 1 companies

    • Identify opportunities for new partnerships within target verticals, including electric vehicle charging, home insurance providers, and smart home OEMs,.

    • Work across multiple internal teams to identify needs, gather requirements, evaluate partners, and execute licensing agreements. 

    • Collaborate with internal teams to understand refinement needs as you negotiate new deals.

    • Serve as a liaison between business development and legal colleagues to negotiate and close complex commercial agreements.

    • Promote and champion strategic initiatives to senior executives.

    Skills, Experience and Requirements

    You have:

    • A four-year degree and at least 10 years of relevant work experience.
    • Business savvy to author agreements that weather changing business environments in a manner beneficial to OnTech
    • Experience networking and developing executive level relationships at fortune 500 companies in key strategic verticals, such as car manufacturing or home insurance. 
    • Experience in a variety of areas including new client prospecting, contract negotiation and managing legal negotiations through to execution, and ongoing relationship management.
    • Intellectual curiosity with a demonstrated interest in technology and operations.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with superior written and verbal communication.
    • The ability to travel up to 50% of the time. 
    • A verifiable track record of results.

    Salary Range

    Compensation: $110,000.00/Year - $160,000.00/Year

    The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
