As a Product Manager, you'll play a critical role in the continued growth of the DISH Business team. The product management team develop and support a variety of existing and new video and internet related technologies. We're looking for someone who is intellectual and willing to take initiative to learn about new products and technologies while collaborating with a team to integrate those technologies into solutions that will define the future of Dish Business. If you like figuring out how products work and often ask how you can make products better or you are obsessed with improving the customer experience, then this role is for you!

    As a Product Manager II, you will serve as the internal and external champion for the Commercial organization. Your day to day will be managing internal and external relationships to deliver product roadmap requirements. Responsibilities include identifying and analyzing industry and market trends, analyzing and synthesizing internal data and processes, identifying products to meet new markets, and cross functional coordination within Dish and with external vendors. You should be comfortable communicating within all areas of the company as well as with external partners and vendors. A desire to self-start projects and take initiative is a must.

    The Product Manager II will be responsible for the development of products to drive growth in Dish's Enterprise, Hospitality, Multi-Family, and Public/Private sector. This is a vital role in the ongoing development of DISH subscriber and revenue growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and guide the career and performance development of direct reports, including regular coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations

    • Lead and manage the implementation, execution, and evaluation of all training initiatives within assigned contact centers and lines of business

    • Own and drive key training performance metrics, such as agent comprehension, experience, and post-training performance, for assigned areas of responsibility

    • Collaborate closely with CXO Training Creation, Performance Optimization, Operations, and site leadership to develop and implement effective training and leadership development strategies

    • Leverages performance management systems and tools to effectively manage teams and drive results

    • Accurately estimate the scope and complexity of programs and projects, set clear objectives and goals, and break down work into manageable steps

    • Analyze data, identify key findings, and create compelling narratives to communicate insights and influence decision-making

    • Lead the recruitment and hiring process for new training staff members

    • Proactively identify opportunities to improve training programs, materials, and operational processes based on observations, feedback, and data analysis

    • Remain flexible and adaptable to take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed

    • Travel domestically and internationally as required, up to 25% of the time

    Skills, Experience and Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, etc.) from an accredited college or university

    • 4+ years of experience in a Product Management or equivalent role or combination of education and on job experience

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Experience with end to end product delivery

    • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition

    • Ability to learn quickly, prioritize and work under pressure, adapt to a rapidly changing environment and demonstrate a sense of urgency

    • A desire to research new technologies, creatively conceptualize new products that integrate those new technologies, and make it happen

    • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to solve ambiguous problems and deliver results despite challenges

    • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and project management skills

    • Able to breakdown complex problems into simple solutions focused on important customer needs

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, or Marketing.

    • Experience communicating and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority

    • Extreme curiosity and appetite for learning and growth

    • Strong business acumen - Experience working with P&L data to drive growth

    • Masters of Business Administration degree from an accredited University

    Salary Ranges

    Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year

    The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
