    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The Regulatory Program Manager will work with a variety of internal and external partners and vendors to ensure a successful deployment of our 5G Wireless network. This role will be based out of the Northeast Region, ideally in Washington D.C.

    Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

    • Continually assess policies and procedures to ensure DISH Wireless is compliant with all applicable rules & regulations, and remains efficient

    • Assist local markets with training on regulatory issues and provide guidance to local markets on site design 

    • Track compliance risk items through to completion and ensure all of the necessary information is documented appropriately

    • Assist with Migratory Bird issues

    • Perform reviews of proposed federal undertakings to determine compliance requirements, provide approvals, and create Collocation Exclusion Letters (CELs) where applicable

    • Utilize proprietary systems to track required regulatory compliance reports

    • Secondary point of contact with the FAA and FCC

    • Run regular reports to assess vendor performance

    • Regional vendor management and the review/approval of environmental reports

    • Issue POs and assist with financial budgeting and tracking

    Skills, Experience and Requirements

    The successful Regional Program Manager candidate will have:

    • Experience managing hundreds of projects simultaneously, working to aggressive schedules
    • Bachelor Degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education
    • A clear understanding of Environmental and Regulatory requirements for wireless networks (including FAA, FCC & OSHA Regulations)
    • Experience in reviewing regulatory/compliance status for telecommunications facilities
    • Two (2) or more years of experience working in wireless telecommunications in large scale deployments, preferably with specific experience in Regulatory / Compliance (NEPA/Section 106)
    • Experience handling standard FAA / FCC filings
    • Experience in working with government agencies such as BIA, BLM, USFS and SHPO offices 
    • Strong communication and presentation skills

    Preferred experience:

    • Experience managing staff/vendors 
    • Experience speaking with local jurisdictions about Health and Safety, EME and other regulatory issues
    • EME requirements and signage standards 
    • Migratory Bird Compliance

    Salary Range

    Compensation: $75,600.00/Year - $108,000.00/Year
