    Position summary

    Department Summary

    DISH is seeking a strongly motivated Project Manager to join DISH’s award-winning Customer Experience Transformation team (CXT) and help drive our Provisioning Center of Excellence (PCoE) initiative and strategy. CXT plays a pivotal role to the various brand business partners and executive leadership teams by bringing to light customer feedback from multiple channels to improve the end-to-end customer experience.  

    In this role you’ll build partnerships with key stakeholders across the business to advocate for and coordinate project process, communication and overall customer experience improvements. The PCoE Initiative will focus on all aspects of a potential customer’s onboarding journey, across multiple Retail Wireless brands to ensure a low effort, high success, and exceptional experience for the customer.

    This role is located in the Denver metro area. Relocation assistance is available. 

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Managing PCoE Initiatives and Strategies: Coordinating internal resources and stakeholders for the execution of multiple projects, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope. Assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives, developing detailed project plans to monitor and track progress and success, and creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. Conducting post-project evaluations and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.

    • Leading through Influence: Embedding yourself in key groups as a trusted partner in gaining executive support and influencing business strategies and can quickly find common ground and solve problems for the good of all. Use and continually develop leadership skills. Utilize PM industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.

    • Communication and Storytelling: Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution in both formal and informal presentations to large and small groups, to both technical and non-technical audiences. Providing weekly deliverable update reports on project progress, status, and issues to stakeholders. Representing the department as a project lead in weekly meetings.

    • Facilitating Innovation: Facilitating project meetings with all levels of staff, leveraging virtual collaboration tools. Facilitating brainstorming to solve real problems in new and creative ways; decisiveness in creative ideas and suggestions to pursue; challenging teams to think about creative solutions using various idea-generating methods and mindsets.

    • Business Acumen: Knows how businesses work; knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting your business and organization; knows the competition; is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace. Spends time researching industry trends, competitive intelligence, and customer data. 

    Skills, Experience and Requirements

    • Minimum 5+ years of Project Management Experience
    • Minimum 2+ years of Wireless/Telecommunications Experience
    • Proven experience in project management with the ability to organize and motivate teams
    • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
    • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see projects through to completion
    • Excellent organizational, verbal, presentation, visual, storytelling, and written communication skills
    • Capability to communicate complex ideas effectively
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and highly dynamic environment
    • Experience influencing and driving strategic, cross-functional initiatives within large organizations
    • Experience in process improvement and people management
    • Bachelor’s Degree or above is preferred but not required
    • PMP or other Project Management Certifications are preferred but not required

    Salary Range

    Compensation: $87,500.00/Year - $125,000.00/Year

    The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
