Job Duties and Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will get to deliver creative

solutions for our new Wireless venture! We are looking for talented, driven, passionate Software Engineers to join the Dish family and drive our business forward through delivering world-class software to our customers, partners, and employees.

In this role, the Senior Software Architect will work as a technical lead in the Wireless OSS Inventory group to define implementation strategy and develop domain architecture roadmaps. You will interface with other teams within the organization to develop complete systems to better our customers’ experiences.

• Architecting systems and processes that fulfill DISH’s wireless goals.

• Define implementation strategy for Inventory and develop implementation roadmaps.

• Planning, execution and success of complex software solutions to meet customer’s needs.

• Provide technical leadership for team, providing mentorship and promoting best practices.

• Lead cloud automation and operational excellence work streams.

• Work closely with product owner to create stories and features in alignment with architecture.

• Interface with other teams as needed to define E2E process and system architecture.

• Work with other Dish architects to develop and define IT and enterprise standards.

• Assist with troubleshooting of issues as needed.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of system or applications architecture experience
• Experience developing Java/SpringBoot based microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals; including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
• CI/CD and source control experience (branching, merging, rebasing).
• Experience using container and container management tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Great communication skills - someone who passionate about sharing your vision and getting others excited.
• Experience with pub/sub, graph and relational database, and workflow/orchestration technologies.

Preferred skills:

• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.

• Domain expertise in Wireless, Inventory, Operational Support Systems.

Salary Range

Compensation: $140,250.00/Year - $189,750.00/Year
