Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining all Gen Mobile BSS/OSS processes and procedures.  The Billing Manager will be responsible for all aspects of billing assurance including reporting, advanced data analysis, leakage management, leakage prevention, business process change, CDR reconciliation, integrations, and billing migrations.  They will monitor financial and operational metrics, work with other departments to implement best practices. Through analysis and creation of new processes and reports, the Billing Manager will ensure accurate billing to customers.  This position will report directly to the Head of Operations.

Job Duties

Tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Build and manage billing processes and procedures

• Build mediation rules and usage flow into the billing system, continually refining to ensure optimal performance

• Rating analysis and investigation

• Perform margin analysis on accounts

• Research customer charges and ensure they are applied correctly

• Audit new company products/plans

• Implement necessary updates to customer rating

• Participate in cross functional partnerships with Fraud, Cost Assurance, IT teams and others to develop and implement best practices to minimize revenue leakage

• Analyze data/reports to identify opportunities for improvement

• Manage international calling underlying carriers including cost analysis

• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills, Experience and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of wireless/lifeline billing operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience leading projects and initiatives efficiently and effectively

• Motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment

• Experience analyzing and interpreting complex data or large amounts of information accurately and taking action confidently

• Experience managing, reconciling, and integrating with carriers

• Ability to communicate effectively across varying audiences

• Collaborative, hands-on approach to work that is reflected through their management style and communications.

• Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

• Intermediate SQL proficiency is highly preferred

• Must be flexible to accommodate changing business requirements

Salary Range

Compensation: $87,745.00/Year - $125,350.00/Year
