    Position summary

    an agile Product Owner with expertise in e-commerce concepts, user management, partner billing, product catalog management, and managing distributed teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the business to develop a comprehensive backlog of e-commerce, user management, partner billing, and product catalog requirements

    • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in existing processes and products

    • Own backlog items from start to completion, managing risks and pushing issues to closure

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and business intelligence, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs

    • Manage commerce activities across two distributed teams (FTE and SI), ensuring effective collaboration and communication

    • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, release plans, and iteration plans that align with business objectives and stakeholder needs

    • Communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders, including executives, customers, and team members

    • Facilitate sprint planning, ensuring the agile squad is working on the correct priority items, and showcase demos to the business each iteration

    • Ensure that the product is delivered on time, within budget, and meets the required quality standards

    • Oversee the design and implementation of shopping cart functionality and order processing

    • Manage the ability to organize and maintain product listings and inventory

    • Oversee billing processes and ensure smooth integration with partner services

    • Ensure efficient management of the entire order lifecycle

    • Implement features to manage customer interactions and support

    • Track and analyze sales performance and customer behavior to inform decision-making

    • Implement and manage discounts, promotions, and loyalty programs

    • Model best practices in product ownership and coach team members on PO methods to enhance team performance

    Skills, Experience and Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field

    • Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred

    • 4+ years of experience in a product ownership role, with a focus on e-commerce, user management, partner billing, or product catalog

    • Certification in agile methodologies, such as CPO or CSPO, is preferred

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills

    • Strong understanding of e-commerce architecture, including Shopping Cart and Checkout Process, Payment Gateway Integration, Product Catalog Management, Partner Billing, Order Management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Analytics and Reporting, Security and Compliance, Marketing and Promotions

    • Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban

    • Experience with Jira and Rally

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions

    • Experience managing distributed teams and collaborating with both FTE and SI

    • Proven ability to model best practices and coach PO methods to team members

    • Experience with cloud-based e-commerce solutions preferred

    • Knowledge of data engineering and integration tools preferred

    Salary Ranges

    Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year

    The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
