Department Summary

Software Test - Engineer II sought by DISH Network, LLC in Denver, CO. Perform API and UI test automation using the data driven automation framework and the Ready API tool. Analyze system requirements for various computer system modules. Collaborate with agile development and architecture teams to identify appropriate test solutions. Develop test automation that exercises all aspects of application code for UI, API services, and database validations. Integrate automated tests with the CI/CD pipelines. Develop manual tests for non-automatable features. Execute automation and manual test scripts. Analyze the results of the automation and manual tests. Log and track problems (bugs). Assist developer with debugging prod incidents. Maintain and manage existing automated and manual test suites for regression testing. Contribute to continuous improvement in processes and procedures. Collaborate with a globally distributed team.

Job requirements:

Requires Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Science and Engineering, or closely related engineering field, plus 2 years of related experience in job offered or as Systems Engineer. Also requires 2 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):

● Java, Agile and SCRUM
● Integrating automated tests with dev ops.
● Database testing
● Automation testing
● Working in continuous integration and continuous delivery
● Automation tools like UFT and Selenium
● Test management tools such as ALM, or a similar tool

Also requires 1 year of work experience using Automation tools like Maven and Ready API.
