t and Dasher Experience. The Dasher & Logistics team owns initiatives that touch all parts of the Dasher life cycle ranging from supply & demand, to cost & quality, Dasher retention and operating our logistics platform. This role will be responsible for metrics like delivery times, delivery efficiency, delivery quality and dasher compensation.
This role is based in Sydney or Melbourne and is hybrid, allowing you to work from the office and when you need the flexibility, you can work remotely.

Lead - You will be a critical member of the Australia Leadership Team and lead a team of highly motivated team of rockstars, contributing to and making decisions in our Dashers, Consumers, Merchants and Doordash's best interests
Strategize - Utilizing existing market leading knowledge from Doordash globally, or from first principles, you'll develop the right strategies build our Dasher cohort and service our customers in Australia
Analyze - You'll assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions, and iterate based on data, having access to a deep data lake of real-time information across local and international markets
Experiment - You'll transform strategies into operational experiments that create measurable and actionable outcomes, informing your longer term plans and helping to build the playbook of success in our market
Collaborate - You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with many other cross-functional teams including marketing, product, sales and operations all of whom will be critical to our success

8+ years of experience - consulting, strategy, operations, product, technology, banking, analytics experiences are highly valued, with direct experience with a three-sided marketplace dynamic a strong plus
Strong business acumen - you are able to identify the "so what" from data, interdependencies between teams, and translate them into an operational strategy
The ability to operate at the lowest level of detail - you are a structured problem solver, love getting into the data (Spreadsheet and SQL/dashboarding experience highly preferred) to inspire your team through insight and action
Exceptional cross-functional leadership - comfortable in a highly-visible role, you can collaborate and influence effectively and 'set-the-pace' for the rest of the team.
You have grit - you are a true operator, you understand that no problem is too big or too small and our top performers are customer obsessed, breaking through any barrier to do the best for our Customers, Merchants and Dashers.
