DTCC’s Compliance department is dedicated to protecting the firm against the risks of non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations and lapses in internal policies. Our main responsibility is the development and maintenance of DTCC’s compliance program and to provide enterprise-wide oversight and support to DTCC’s subsidiaries and business areas. Our interns support some of the department’s key responsibilities, among them:

n- Assist with the identification and evaluation of compliance risks associated with global requirements n- Assist with compliance monitoring related to policies and procedures, employee trade monitoring, AML, and global sanctions activities n- Prepare management reports and conduct research to support compliance activities n- Support department records management efforts n- Aid in projects as deemed priority by management n

Qualifications:
n
n- Candidates must be working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the following curriculums: Business, Political Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, or Business & Technology Management n- Experience working in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) n- Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and analytical skills n- Strong written & oral communication skills n- Ability to work within a team environment n- Strong interest in the financial services industry, with previous internship experience a strong plus n- Candidates must have authorization to work permanently in the US without the need for sponsorship (now or in the future) n- Candidates must have minimum of a 3.2 GPA to be considered n

About our Internship Program:

DTCC offers 10-week summer internships for university students in several departments and locations around the globe. Internships are an opportunity to contribute to DTCC’s daily operations, while learning more about the company and the financial services and technology industries. As a summer intern, you’ll be aligned as closely as possible to a team that leverages your academic skills and considers your future career aspirations. Upon a successful summer, interns will have the opportunity to be considered for our new graduate program upon obtaining their degree, also known as the EDGE Program.
