Being a member of Genral Counsel's Office the Compliance Risk Assessments & Testing Team Member fosters compliance with regulatory requirements applicable to DTCC's entities through the implementation and execution of compliance risk assessments and testing.

Your Primary Responsibilities

nn

nt- Fosters an environment of regulatory awareness and maintains awareness of regulatory requirements and ongoing changes . nt- Interfaces and builds relationships with the business and support functions to understand tactical and big picture issues in the organization nt- With guidance, identifies and evaluates compliance risks present at DTCC nt- With supervision, executes test plans to assess the effectiveness of the compliance control environment nt- Identifies control deficiencies and assists the business with identifying sustainable corrective actions nt- Documents work clearly and concisely and prepares well-written reports nt- Identifies and supports enhancements to processes within the function nt- Provides compliance support to Compliance Liaisons and business support areas nt- Performs other special projects or assignments, as assigned nt- Understands and exhibits behaviors and competencies that demonstrate a risk management mindset nt- Supports alignment of the function with the overall compliance strategy nt- Takes an active role in one’s own career development nt- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriatelynt ntnt n

Talents Needed For Success:

nn

nt- Minimum of 4 years of related experience nt- Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience n

Additional Qualifications

nn

nt- Ability to identify and assess risk and recommend controls to mitigate risk, with guidance nt- Ability to execute control testing, with guidance. Compliance Testing or audit experience strongly preferred. nt- Some knowledge of compliance principles and standards, including industry best practices and compliance controls n
