Why You’ll Love This Job: n
As the Corporate Actions Associate Director, you will provide leadership and management of multiple teams leads and their reports, handle oversight for the day-to-day corporate action announcements and processing and maintain a strong control environment. The Corporate Actions Associate Director will be accountable for staff performance management and succession planning, ensure operational procedures are followed, and customer service standards are met. Corporate Actions processing at DTC consists of support for the following functions: Voluntary & Mandatory Reorganization, Issuer Services, Principal & Interest, Cash / Stock Distributions, International Dividends & US Tax Operations.

Your Primary Responsibilities: n
n- Perform oversight of day-to-day processing activities including exception resolution, achievement of metrics and benchmarks, adherence to controls, audit follow-up, compliance, and risk management activities n- Make well-informed, effective, and timely decisions using available data; perceive the impact and implications of decisions and hold self and others accountable for measurable high-quality and timely results n- Understand and appropriately apply principles, procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies related to specialized business functions n- Support and drive continuous improvement for process and procedures; ensure that procedures are continually followed and updated n- Articulate and present technical information clearly and optimally to partners and/or non-technical colleagues in both small and large group settings n- Strong talent evaluator with focus on development of others to perform and contribute to the organization by providing ongoing feedback and by providing opportunities to learn through formal and informal methods n- Uses subject matter expertise to review and enhance the control environment, and identify and implement operational improvements n- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate issue resolution, operational improvements, and risk reduction; take a lead role on department projects and initiatives n- Implement short- and medium-term strategy and ensure execution of divisional goals on a department level n- Handle development of training plans and delivery to meet staff development targets n
