    This position will be a staff member within the Global Threat Intelligence (GTI) team, supporting DTCC Technology Risk Management. This position requires someone with the ability to proactively identify and analyze vulnerabilities as well as their related exploits and attack vectors.

    The selected individual will represent DTCC interests as an Intelligence Liaison with the financial services sector, the U.S. Government, and within the Analysis and Resilience Center for Systemic Risk (ARC). The ARC leverages the expertise of participating banks' information/cyber-security teams with that of government partners, including the Department of Treasury, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

    This position will collaborate with other members of the ARC to proactively identify, analyze, assess, and coordinate activities to mitigate systemic risk to the U.S. financial sector from current and emerging cyber security threats through focused operations and enhanced collaboration between participating firms, industry partners, and the U.S. Government.

    Candidates must be able to work flexible schedules and be adaptable to changes in start and/or end times depending on production demands.

     Your Primary Responsibilities: 

    n

    n- Serve as a key liaison between the ARC and DTCC with the expectations that this individual will gain a strong knowledge of DTCC’s landscape and processes to ensure that critical threat intelligence is fed back to DTCC. n- Work within the ARC to develop processes and workflows to improve cybersecurity defenses within the financial services sector. n- Collaborate with identified external contacts to identify, analyze, assess, and coordinate activities to mitigate systemic risk to the U.S. financial services sector. n- Monitor for emerging vulnerabilities impacting resources used within the company. n- Track attack vectors used by threat actors and evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls. n- Identify new threat TTPs and signatures used by cyber threat actors. n- Review available intelligence feeds and incorporate emerging knowledge into an understanding of cyber threats and actors. n- Develop a working understanding of hacktivist threat capabilities and intentions. n- Research and craft analytic papers on subjects related to cyber-threat activity, to include ideological extremism, political incidents and situations, and decentralized activist organizational structure. n- Maintain up-to-date awareness of computer network exploitation and attack tools and tradecraft, threats and vulnerabilities, and respective countermeasures. n- Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior. n

     Additional Qualifications

    n

    n- Prior cyber threat, information assurance, or intelligence experience n- Prior experience assessing targeted intrusion operations, incidents, and campaigns. n- Minimum TS Clearance is required though TS/SCI Clearance is desired. n- Must have a deep understanding of developing Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) to support the development of IDS/IPS Signatures. n- Understanding of cyber threat actors and motivations n- Minimum of 8 years of related experience n- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience n
