    • DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).

    The Impact you will have in this role:

    You will provide critical support for the management of Data Domains aligned to the team, including support of enterprise wide Data Management initiatives. You will need to work effectively within an agile framework as part of a cross functional team that includes Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Architects, Operations and Information Technology Subject Matter Experts, Data Architects, Data Modelers, Enterprise Test Engineers, Data Governance and Data Quality Leads, IT Business System Analysts, and other Data Steward Business Analysts. You should also be able to work independently with the appropriate initiative-taking and problem-solving, even in ambiguous situations. Your role is key in bridging the gap between IT and the business and requires the ability to access, profile and analyze data, understand and document business requirements, and communicate clearly and concisely with a broad range of technical and business stakeholders.

    Responsibilities:

    Your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Participating in preliminary data analysis for new projects to determine whether required data exists within DTCC; identifying and documenting authoritative sources for existing data; defining onboarding plans for new data

    • In close collaboration with Business, Operational and IT stakeholders determine and document data requirements for a business process, including downstream consuming use cases. Determine and document business rules.

    • Collaborating with business and operational stakeholders to comprehensively analyze data in order to produce logical data element names, document clear and accurate data element descriptions, and identify valid values for the data

    • Assisting data modelers in producing conceptual and logical data models, including entity and attribute names and definitions

    • Utilizing the enterprise metadata repository to input and manage required metadata for critical and prioritized data elements in support of data management initiatives and enterprise-wide data modernization efforts

    • Supporting data quality through data profiling, defining and documenting data quality and data validation rules, performing root cause analysis for identified data quality issues, and supporting data cleansing efforts to ensure that data is fit for its intended use

    • Assisting the Leadership team with project planning, identification of resource requirements, and effort estimation

    • Independently managing assigned projects, through the life cycle from initiation through to closing

    • Defining, tracking, and reporting on KPIs for identified use cases

    • Providing analytical and reporting capabilities to support decision making by stakeholders

    • Developing and delivering clear and concise, high-quality presentations to stakeholders and leadership that provide the appropriate level of detail for the intended audience

    • Participating meaningfully as a core member of one or more agile squads, including attending daily stand-up, grooming sessions and other agile ceremonies, documenting user stories, and tracking and reporting on relevant project metrics

    • Mitigate risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior

    Talents Needed for Success:

    • Minimum of 6 years of related experience

    • Bachelor's Degree or Masters' Degree and/or equivalent experience

    • Strong understanding of data management processes and best practices

    • Understanding of latest innovations and technologies with regards to data

    • Familiarity with analytical tools and statistical methods required for AI/ML

    • Experience with data management tools such as Collibra or others

    • Fundamental knowledge of databases and data modeling, and ability to profile data using SQL

    • Experience with data analysis & visualization tools, such as Power BI, Python, R is a plus

    • Experience using data quality tools such as Ataccama, Informatica DQ is a plus

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) required
