As the Liquidity Risk Director for DTCC, you will partner with Market and Liquidity Risk Management, Stress Testing, DTCC Product Management, and Treasury subject matter experts to oversee the daily calculation and monitoring of liquidity risk exposures, market risk exposures, and settlement risk in the DTCC Clearing Agencies which include the Depository Trust Company (DTC), Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC), and National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC).

The Director is responsible for ensuring daily processes are performed, consistent with regulatory guidance, enhancements and system development are carried out to business requirements, and a risk measured approach to maintaining a quality program reflective of an evolving and focused risk practice is in place. The Director will liaise with other teams to produce management and regulatory reporting, work with external clients, as needed, to answer questions and provide transparency as it pertains to the liquidity needs and resources of the Clearing Agencies. The Director will manage, coach, and develop team members to their full potential.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
n
n- Oversee the daily calculations of Cover-1 liquidity ratios n- Provide guidance and support to staff and colleagues on risk management practices n- Identify opportunities for improved operations and efficiency n- Execute on project development and technology enhancements to support the liquidity risk management function n- Coordinate with 2nd and 3rd lines of defense to build a strong risk function n- Use domain expertise, solutions knowledge and an understanding of market needs to define client and clearing house solutions n- Work with PMO in tracking progress towards defined priorities n- Own and maintain documentation, such as Policies and Procedures n- Collaborate with technology staff to translate business requirements to the appropriate level of detail n- Conduct independent research on liquidity topics n- Identify, articulate, and escalate matters appropriately n- Provide timely and accurate feedback to staff and colleagues n- Empower staff through direction, support, and learning opportunities n- Accountable for planning and executing on commitments and deliverables n

Talents Needed for Success:
n
n- 7 years of experience in risk management, treasury, or financial analysis, including 2+ years of managerial experience n- Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred n- Excellent written and verbal communication skills n- Ability to flourish in a high-paced environment n- Proficient in navigating a highly regulated organization and industry n- Highly motivated n

n- Experience in financial risk management is required, specific understanding of clearing a plus n- Experience in leading small/medium sized global-teams n- Understanding of Agile and project management functions n- Proven experience coaching and developing staff n
