Enterprise Data Management Intern [2023 Internship Program]

 The Enterprise Data Management Intern will support the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Office and stakeholders in the implementation and management of the Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality practices and program metrics.

What you’ll do:

n

n- Support the review and update of key EDM documentation (Strategy, Policy, Procedures, Standards)  n- Analyze and document EDM tool requirements  n- Support the design and maintenance of the EDM SharePoint as the approved repository for all EDM documentation and communication  n- Assist with planning for Certification milestones and identifying resource requirements  n- Assist Domain Aligned Stewards to support the Data Steward and EDM activities  n- Support the EDM Office in Program Management to:  n n- Prepare meeting agendas  n- Record meeting minutes  n- Record and track action items  n- Collect weekly status and confirm completeness  n- Assist with tracking of Risks, Issues and Change Logs  n n

Qualifications: 

n

n- Candidates must be working towards a bachelor’s degree in the following curriculums: Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, MIS or Business & Technology Management n- Exposure to either data analysis, data architecture or business data management through experience or course work n- Detail oriented, organized, strong time management skills  n- Strong written and verbal communication skills  n- Proven analysis skills through experience or course work  n- Proactive and effective collaborator with all team members and stakeholders  n- Ability to communicate and influence all levels of management  n- Self-starter with high motivation and initiative  n- Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project  n- Candidates must have authorization to work permanently in the US without the need for sponsorship (now or in the future)   n- Candidates must have minimum of a 3.2 GPA to be considered   n

DTCC offers 10-week summer internships for university students in several departments and locations around the globe. Internships are an opportunity to contribute to DTCC’s daily operations, while learning more about the company and the financial services and technology industries. As a summer intern, you’ll be aligned as closely as possible to a team that leverages your academic skills and considers your future career aspirations. Upon a successful summer, interns will have the opportunity to be considered for our new graduate program upon obtaining their degree, also known as the EDGE Program.
