You will be a member of a Cloud Reliability team consisting of mixed skill individuals that include Python Developers, Terraform/Automation engineers and Cloud SMEs currently focusing on AWS, and now extending into Azure.

n

Your focus will be mainly on advancing the Azure platform, and your day-to-day activities will include:

n

n- Provide L3 support. n- Develop Terraform and Python based automation. n- Contribute to the technical design of complex systems aimed at improving the reliability of the Azure platform. n- Operate commercial third-party Cloud Management and Observability tools. n- Provide training and create documentation. n

n

Your Primary Responsibilities:

n

n- Technology Expertise – is a subject matter expert on one or more of programming languages, vendor products, DTCC applications, data structures, business lines n- Platforms – works with Infrastructure partners to stand up development, testing, and production environments n- Requirements Elaboration – works with the Functional Architect to ensure designs satisfy functional requirements n- Data Modeling – reviews and extends data models n- Is aware of frameworks – that promote concepts of isolation, extensibility, and extendibility n- System Performance – contributes to solutions that satisfy performance requirements; constructs test cases and strategies that account for performance requirements; tunes application performance issues n- Security – implements solutions and executes test plans working mentoring other team members in best practice n- Standards – is aware of technology standards and understands technical solutions need to be consistent with them n- Documentation – develops and maintains system documentation n- Is familiar with different software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban) n- Effectively manages individual and team performance, maintaining high standards for team members n- Supports team in managing client expectations and resolving issues on time n- Ensures own and team’s practices support success across all geographic locations n- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately n

Talents Needed for Success:

n

n- Minimum of 6 years of related experience n- 3+ years Azure experience n- Bachelor's degree preferred or related experience required n

n

Additional Qualifications:

n

n- Strong preference for Azure professional certifications n- Well versed in one or more of these skills: Python, Terraform (Open Source / Enterprise), Groovy/Jenkins, Unit testing. n- Experience using modern Development tools, like Git and GitFlow. n- Ability to conduct meaningful code reviews and participate in team technical discussions. n- Experience with Observability and Management tools, like Dynatrace, Cloudaware and PagerDuty a plus. n
