Being a member of IT Governance and Assurance team, you will optimize the performance of applications, evaluate design, and work together with developers and testers to deliver robust applications by providing technical leadership to multiple performance engineering teams. The Lead Performance Engineer develops requirements and specifications for tools and processes to support the project life cycle. You'll work closely with the development team during performance testing/tuning, and coordinate solve efforts with performance engineers.

What you’ll do:

n

n- Support end to end performance testing for projects independently, using Agile methodologies n- Assist in the development of estimates, resource requirements, and coordinate between teams at multiple locations to ensure on time delivery of projects n- Review business use cases, user stories, and other functional and non-functional requirements to identify key performance indicators n- Review design documents, infrastructure implementations, and code to identify potential performance bottlenecks and defects n- Prepare load simulators, supervising tools, and other automation to sustainably test the products against specifications n- Develop custom tools and load simulators and integrate in CICD pipelines using Jenkins, and Bitbucket. n- Analyze full stack of the application (web server, application server, database, etc.), identify performance bottlenecks (at application and OS layers) and support performance tuning exercises n- Participate in defect tracking and reporting n- Drive adoption of automated performance testing n- Build, publish, and support reusable components to automate repeatable, manual test activities. n- Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately n

n- 5+ years of Performance Engineering experience (analysis, testing, and tuning) n- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience n- Experience with AWS Performance Analysis and Tuning n- Experience with JVM and Tomcat/WebSphere Performance Analysis and Tuning n- Experience with Linux Performance Analysis n- Experience developing simulators or automation in multiple languages, such as Java, Python, etc. for simulating workloads or supporting activities. n- Experience with performance diagnostics/supervising tools such as DynaTrace, TeamQuest, AppDynamics, or Cloudwatch n- 2+ years of experience with JMeter, LoadRunner or custom load generation tools n- Broad experience with multiple middleware and data store technologies, such as message queues, relational databases, NoSQL DBs, caches, stream processing, batch processing n- Experience automating performance testing through a CI/CD pipeline is nice to have n- Experience with Oracle or DB2 SQL performance analysis is preferred n
