Our goal is to develop a standardized forward looking multi-channel approach to access DTCC services and product. And provide a streamlined operational support via end-to-end traffic management / traceability, replay, and data reconciliation capabilities to enhance overall client experience and add business value

Build key IT foundational components to enable modernization of DTCC business application platforms. Enable consistent and simple reuse of foundational components and capabilities, delivering value to clients by lowering complexity, faster time-to-market, and greater efficiencies.

You will collaborate with your peers within and outside your area to ensure that any best practices/approaches/standards are reused. You would be part of an Agile squad and will collaborate with the Product Owner (PO) to understand the business needs and participate in planning, definition, and high-level technical design with the development team. What You'll Do

n

n- Participate in requirements gathering with Product owners, business users and subject matter experts and come up with an elegant solution with best design. n- Write clean, self-documenting code, following best practices on coding incorporating unit testing. n- Collaborate with the Senior Application Architects and other technical contributors at all levels  during the application development and resolve application defects identified during System Integration and User Acceptance Testing Phases n- Provide on-going maintenance support for the applications during Post-deployment support phase. n- Be a self-starter providing creative and innovative ideas or solutions continuously improving the technological offering. n- System Performance - contribute to solutions that satisfy performance requirements; constructs test cases and strategies that account for performance requirements n- Security – implement solutions and executes test plans working with more senior technical staff to validate security requirements n- Standards – is aware of technology standards and understand technical solutions need to be consistent with them n- Independently follow design and code standards, contributing to continuous improvement discussions n- Participate in code reviews, Sprint meetings and retrospectives. n

Talents Needed for Success:

n

n- Minimum of 7+ years of related experience n- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience n- 5+ years of experience in Java development: n n- Good knowledge in Core Java including Collections, Streams, Multi-threading etc., n- Web Development - Spring Framework & RESTful Web Services n- ORM – Spring Data JPA, Hibernate n- JavaDocs n- JSON and XML data processing n n- Understanding of Web Security: Basic Auth, Oauth, Mutual Auth, JWT, etc. n- Understanding of CI/CD Tools and package managers: GIT, Maven, Node, Jenkins, Bitbucket n- DevOps tools like Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Fortify, Cobertura, Containers, etc. n- Familiarity with Agile Frameworks – Jira, Scrum, Kanban, etc. n- Demonstrates strong analytical and interpersonal skills n- Experienced in working with a geographically separated (onshore + offshore) team n

Good to Have:

n- User Interface development (jQuery and especially Angular) n- Knowledge on AWS - Cloud services - IAM, EC2, Security (Param store), S3 n- Good knowledge on Containers - Openshift / Tanzu n
