As a Liquidity Risk Associate for DTCC, you will be directly involved in the execution and ongoing implementation of the liquidity risk management framework, and supporting processes, across multiple business segments. The Liquidity Risk Associate will be analyzing, designing, monitoring, and performing liquidity risk management stress scenarios and supporting the preparation of related communications for senior management and regulatory audiences. The Liquidity Risk Associate, working with a distributed team comprised of technical and business risk managers will review liquidity risk metrics and processes to identify emerging risks and areas of improvement within the governance framework. This role uses market and internal data, as well as quantitative techniques, to perform analyses.

Your Responsibilities
n
n- Identify meaningful issues in which controls are not properly designed or operating n- Assess the risk and control environment for process improvements within coverage areas. n- Validate the completion of agreed action plans under the mentorship of a supervisor. n- Understands the financial services industry and risk and control environment for coverage areas to identify new risks. n- Produce presentation materials and present analysis to senior management and regulators n- Design and conduct the independent assessment of liquidity risks and risk management processes n- Participate in the development of the Liquidity Risk Policy and Procedures, and related Stress Testing program documents n- Perform day-to-day functions contained in the unit's procedures such as researching significant increases in margin requirements, supervising trading patterns of member firms, liquidity usage, etc. n- Provide insights to the liquidity assumptions and stress testing parameters n- Assist DTCC colleagues across risk management n- Conduct independent research projects focused on liquidity risks n- Implement improvements to existing policies and procedures documents for relevant areas n- Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk n- Identify concerns and escalate matters appropriately n- Participate in system development through project management responsibilities, along with a cross-business unit team n

Qualifications
n
n- Minimum of 4 years of related experience n- Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience n- Experience in Risk Management, Finance, Treasury, or other control functions within a financial service setting is required n- Broad understanding of liquidity risk management and stress testing n- Passionate in performing in-depth analysis by utilizing large dataset, python codes and sql. n- Strong financial market knowledge of fixed income and equity markets n- Excellent analytical and technical skills n- Strong written and verbal communication n
