Being a member of the IT Solutions ITP Data Platform Team means you will be part of diverse and collaborative group of technologists. DTCC ITP is the operations expert, automating post-trade life cycle events between 6,000 financial services firms in 52 countries. You will collaborate with your peers within and outside your area to ensure that any best practices/approaches/standards are reused. You would be part of an Agile squad and will collaborate with the Product Owner (PO) to understand the business needs and participate in planning, definition, and high-level technical design with the development team. Your Responsibilities n

n- Lead needed technical processes and designs considering reliability, data integrity, maintainability, reuse, extensibility, usability and scalability n- Collaborate with Infrastructure partners to identify and deploy efficient hosting environments n- Define scalability and performance criteria for assigned applications n- Ensure application meets the performance, privacy, and security requirements n- Tune application performance to eliminate and reduce issues n- Verify test plans to ensure compliance with performance and security requirements n- Support business and technical presentations in relation to technology platforms and business solutions n- Mitigate risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls n- Help develop solutions that balance cost and delivery while meeting business requirements n- implement technology-specific best practices that are consistent with corporate standards n- Partner with multi-functional teams to ensure the success of product strategy and project deliverables n- Drive new technical and business process improvements n- Estimate total costs of modules/projects covering both hours and expense n- Research and evaluate specific technologies, and applications, and contributes to the solution design n- Construct application Architecture encompassing end-to-end designs n- Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior. n

Qualifications n

n- Minimum of 8 years of related experience n- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience n- Serves as a trusted coach or mentor within the organization. n- Communicates openly keeping everyone across the organization informed.+ years of experience architecting and implementing complex ETL pipelines preferably with Spark toolset n- 4+ years Spark/Java Hands on development experience : Kafka, Spark Streaming is must n- 3+ years of hands-on Development experience in Big Data Solutions n- 4+ years of development experience in Big Data on Cloud - Specifically in Snowflake, AWS - S3, Glue n- AWS certification is preferable: AWS Developer/Architect/DevOps/Big Data n- Experience with Agile engineering practices n- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, analytics and segmentation techniques n
