The Entitlements Product Owner is responsible for translating vision and strategy into squad results to achieve the business strategy, aligned with improving value to the client. This is done through managing scope and product backlog in collaboration with the squad, Product Manager, clients (internal/external) and key partners.

In this role, you will ensure that entitlements are designed for new or enhanced products / services so that end-users of our clients or other key parties (e.g., service bureaus, regulators, transfer agents, custodians) have the appropriate access to the functionality that need in the most efficient and safest way possible. Among numerous other stakeholders, you will partner closely with Technology Risk Management and the MyDTCC (client portal) Product Owner since client entitlement design is at the intersection of client experience and risk mitigation. In this role, you will support all DTCC business lines.

The position requires keen business analysis and communication skills to draft and present business requirements to both internal and external partners for ratification. You must be proficient in depicting and describing business impact assessments between current-state and various future state business models. The role also facilitates and leads internal working groups to help advise on requirements and design options. You will make an immediate impact by delivering value to our clients and bringing DTCC’s client experience to the next level.
Your Primary Responsibilities: n
n- Translates the product vision and the roadmap into squad deliverables and release plans to deliver the highest value to satisfy client needs n- Leads the squad's backlog; accepts or rejects backlog items, according to acceptance criteria, during the sprint n- Seeks feedback from partners and clients and incorporates into future backlog items n- Documents requirements in a clear and consistent manner through user stories in JIRA and other tools n- Act as Product Owner in an Agile squad and partnering with internal teams for implementation of new features ensuring that all proposed changes are reviewed, feedback is incorporated, and any impact is fully communicated to internal partners n- Ability to-effectively plan and organize multiple demands and challenging priorities n- Understands and uses applicable work management tools (i.e., JIRA) for decision making and collaboration n- Possesses and leverages deep understanding of domain, product and relevant technologies - e.g., Customer Registration System (CRS), Manage My Services (MMS) n- Keen client centric stance to bring clarity of the customer vision to the squad n- Capable of communicating and influencing all partners (technology, clients, finance, integration, sales, ops) to consistently deliver the right products and solutions n- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately n

Talents Needed for Success: n
n- Minimum of 6 years of related experience n- Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience n- Experience with user access management and access controls; knowledge of client identity and access management principles n- Experience in Agile/scrum methodology, including defining a minimal viable product, and exposure to other software development methodologies n- Exhibits proven understanding of Agile Software Development (primarily Scrum and Kanban) principles and techniques n- Knowledge of financial services operations, trends, and user demands n- Experience working in a client-facing role preferred n
