Working as a Product Owner, this is an exciting opportunity to be a key member of the DTCC Report Hub team and helping drive the continued success of this expanding business line. DTCC Report Hub is an industry leading pre and post trade reporting service with a large and expanding client base.  

n

The Product Owner is responsible for translating the product vision into squad deliverables to achieve the product strategy, aligned with enhancing value to the client. This is done through managing scope and product backlog in collaboration with the squad, Product Manager, clients (internal/external) and key stakeholders. As most development is done by an external offshore vendor, vendor partnership and virtual team collaboration to achieve the goals are critical to be successful in this role.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

n

n- Translates the product vision and the roadmap into squad deliverables and release plans n- Manages the squad's backlog: n- Creates and refines the backlog of user stories with the squad to provide the right level of detail at the right time to achieve definition of ready (preparation for development) n- Accepts or rejects backlog items, according to acceptance criteria, during the sprint n- Seeks feedback from stakeholders and clients and incorporates into future backlog items n

Talents Needed For Success:

n

n- Minimum of 7 years experience n- Bachelor's degree preferred but not essential n- Exhibits strong understanding of Agile Software Development (primarily Scrum and Kanban) principles and techniques. n- Understands and uses applicable work management tools (i.e. JIRA) for decision making and collaboration. n- Drives creative and solution-oriented activity with all participants and stakeholders n- Vendor management and offshore  n- Knowledge of financial services operations, in particular Post Trade Processing and Reporting.  n- MiFID transaction reporting highly desirable. n- Executes against the Product Vision and effectively translates into Product Roadmap and Backlog items to deliver the highest value n
