Applications Engineer

y products (internal and external)

• Be the go-to for the PD sales team when they require technical applications / solutions support, general technical support, proposal support.

• Work directly with product managers and the sales team to bridge products solutions and market requirements.

• Provide input for new product development and champion innovation initiatives.

• Deliver presentations on Eaton's solutions to external and internal stakeholders.

• Train internally and externally to optimise Eaton's value proposition in front of and within the customers` organisation.

• Develop technical & commercial solutions based on customer requirements using Eaton and selected third party products.

Qualifications:

• Ideally 3 + years of experience in technical product engineering within power distribution products and systems, i.e motor control, power quality or automation products.

• Experience with design software packages such as PowerCAD would be highly advantageous.

• Good working knowledge of Australian Electrical standards and industry practices.

• Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering
