    Position summary

    nsibilities**

    • Identify automation opportunities

    • Work with plants to develop automation roadmaps

    • Develop project scopes of work and specifications

    • Assist plants in the development of RFQ packages

    • Assist plants in the development of their automation business cases

    • Manage portfolio of automation projects

    • Deploy automation solutions for Electrical Sector Americas(ES-A) plants

    • Ensures compliance of all new and revised manufacturing systems to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements (MESH 8.0)

    • Participate in Eaton global technology councils

    • Develop and deploy technology playbook standards with the global tech councils

    • Develop a hopper of projects and required capital for annual profit plan

    • Drive accountability for project execution and deliverables

    • Provide guidance for design for automation (DFA)

    • Train & mentor technical resources within ES-A

    • Support I4.0 Roadshows & Bootcamps

    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor degree from an accredited educational institution

    • Minimum 7 years of experience in automating manufacturing processes

    • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

    • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing in North Carolina, South Carolina, El Paso, Texas or Michigan will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university

    • 10 years of experience in automating manufacturing processes

    Skills:

    • Broad manufacturing process knowledge (Sheet Metal fabrication, Molding, Assembly, Wiring, Painting, Machining, etc.)

    • Business case development

    • Integration of Industrial robots

    • Integration of Autonomous Mobile Robots

    • Familiarity with deployments of Collaborative Robots

    • Capital project management"
