    Position summary

    • The Continuous Improvement role is responsible for leading and executing CI programs in partnership with regional Controllership and delivery teams.

    • Leveraging Lean principles and Six Sigma Green Belt expertise, the role focuses on building a robust pipeline of data-driven improvement projects and deploying innovative, sustainable solutions across the region.

    • Key Six Sigma methodologies-including DMAIC, SIPOC, process capability analysis, hypothesis testing, and statistical root-cause validation-are applied to enhance accuracy, reduce variance, and strengthen process controls.

    • In addition, the role utilizes Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, 8 Wastes elimination, 5 Whys, and Fishbone analysis to simplify workflows, eliminate non-value-added activities, and improve cycle time across finance processes.

    • Responsibilities also include conducting investigative variance reviews, performing impact and trend analyses, and delivering actionable recommendations using structured Lean Six Sigma problem-solving frameworks.

    • This position champions organization-wide education on the benefits of Lean and CI, driving capability-building across Controllership and cross-functional teams.

    • This role will require strong project management skills, stakeholder relationship management, ability to identify and manages risk and work in a cross-functional, matrix organization to drive seamless execution of critical CI projects. this role will significantly influence financial results through strategic cost management, waste elimination, variance reduction, and the deployment of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

    Qualifications:

    Requirement:

    • Bachelor degree in Finance/ Business management or equivalent

    • 10+ years of experience; at least 5 years' experience in a Continous Improvement role and environment (finance/accounting experience required)

    Skills:

    • Proven experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of CI tools and methodologies (e.g.Project management tools, VSM, RIE, BPI, Kaizen).
    • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective communication and training skills.
    • Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), and other relevant continuous improvement methodologies are highly preferred.
    • A transformation-oriented approach to continuously drive change.
    • The ability to translate data into compelling insights that influence decision-making.
    • A critical thinking mindset to identify issues and implement rapid corrective actions.
    • Excellent communication skills in English (other languages preferable)
    • Proven track record on being able to take the initiative to overcome challenges.
    • Excellent analytical skills to interpret and relate financial data so that the resulting comments describe the key risks and drivers
    • Ability to look beyond an immediate problem and understand root cause and proffer permanent solutions
    • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations at both operational and corporate levels and work independently
    • Very good interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships
    • Strong focus on standardization and automation of SSC processes
    • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at multiple levels up to senior level
