ll report into the Site Development Engineering Manager and work in conjunction with Production Support Personnel, Our Business Team, and Design Engineers. Daily tasks include creation / revision of Drawings and Solid Models, Manufacturing Support Documents. Assignments can range to moderate difficulty and may require judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. The candidate will be expected to have competency in SolidWorks and have working knowledge on PLM tools. Mentoring and training new employees in completing assigned tasks is also part of the job. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, including the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.

What you'll do:

• Generate layouts, drawings, and sketches for fabrication of engineering designs including 2-D and 3-D drafting, detailing, part labeling, and mechanical stack up tolerance analysis.

• Complete Bill-of-Materials and Routers within Manufacturing Enterprise System MRP to convey product requirements to organization.

• Assist existing product lines, support production documentation issues, maintain work instructions, configure parts for order intake, and participate in our Contract acceptance process.

• Directly support and facilitate the release and configuration control of site documents including but not limited to Engineering Change Orders, manufacturing plans, procedures, winding patterns, cure profiles, and test parameters

• Participate and assist senior designer(s) and lead engineers with preparation of design review packages (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, PRR, etc.) for internal/external customers and management.

Qualifications:

Qualifications and Experience

• AA / AS in Mechanical or Electrical Technology (ACCS or HLC) + 5 years of Product Design (preferred)

• 5+ years of SolidWorks (preferred) and 5+ years of commercial, aerospace, military product design

• Military Background a plus (Preferred)

• US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident.
