What you'll do:
The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the distribution center's facilities. This role ensures that the facility is safe, efficient, and well-maintained to support the distribution center's operations. The Facilities Supervisor will manage a team of maintenance staff and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations. Essential functions include:
Department Leadership - Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment. Monitor and manage the facility's budget, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective operations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment, and inventory. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Facilities - Ensure the facility is maintained in a safe and operational condition, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues. Respond to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate timely repairs. Collaborate with other departments to support facility-related needs and projects.
Vendor and Contractor Management - Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for repairs, maintenance, and other facility-related services.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum three (3) years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
Minimum two (2) years in a supervisory role
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field
Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance
Position Criteria
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.
