Recognize, document, and notify supervision of mechanical malfunctions and operating irregularities within the melt, mold, core, and grinding departments.
Understand and perform designed TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) functions in melt, mold, core, and grinding departments.
Follow predetermined production schedules to satisfy customers
Use production documentation to track equipment downtime, setup, and production events.
Perform other duties as assigned throughout the facility.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
A minimum of six months continuous manufacturing experience.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of (enter location) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience setting up and operating mold equipment (DISA), core equipment (Shalco), shakeout line (Pangborn and shakeout tables), and grinding equipment (face and snag grinder, autogrinder).
Experience with melt department functions such as operating a monorail or magnetic crane, charging furnaces, or managing Junker auto-pouring system

Follow all safety regulations associated
Understand and utilize the lockout/tagout procedures
Ability to become respirator fit and utilize respirator procedures
Work at varied heights using fall protection as required
Work in and understand confined spaces
Forklift and frontend loader certified
Ability to work around molten metal and in a production environment that is hot and subject to unexpected swings of overtime (ability to flex personal schedule to cover tasks on other shifts)
Ability to communicate effectively and work with all employees throughout plant
Promote a team environment
Ability to perform basic computer functions: use SAP, eSafety, MESH Prism
