    Position summary

    compliance and improve workforce capability

    In this function you will:
    • Partner with Supervisors and HR Manager in the design of effective onboarding and training programs that are aligned to plant and department objectives.
    • Oversee the execution of training programs needed for skilled tasks (technical training) and ensures all required training records are up to date and in compliance with ISO standards.
    • Conduct and coordinate new employee onboarding/orientation and monitor onboarding timeline employee knowledge checks
    • Benchmark and incorporate instructional design best practices and learning technology to identify the best solution(s) to capture knowledge and ensure proper knowledge transfer for critical manufacturing processes.
    • Assist in creating or updating training materials, such as SOPs, job aids, visual work instructions, and presentations.
    • Influence key metrics for learning effectiveness and monitor results to continually improve course offerings. (Time to productive, Retention etc.)
    • Maintain site cross-training matrix(ces)
    • Support effectiveness of any pay for skillset programs in place within your group.
    • Leads new-hire orientation schedule and coordinates training plans for each new hire with Human Resources and Supervisors.
    • Collaborate with site leadership to execute the annual training plan.

    Qualifications:

    Required (Basic) Qualifications:
    • High School diploma from an accredited institution
    • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in manufacturing, employee training/development, human resources, or similar roles demonstrating transferable skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field from an accredited institution.
    • Two (2) years of HR Generalist experience.

    Position Criteria:

    • Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
