Position summary

Eaton's AER ITD division is currently seeking a Imp Exp Analyst.

What you'll do:

Job Summary

Responsible for the import/export activities and logistics in accordance to Eaton's policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process the importation and exportation crossings (IN, AF, F4, A3, V1, RT, etc) including the material to be expired, excess and obsolete, Scrap, etc.

  • Assure to have the right HTS Classification on all material (for Impo/Expo)

  • Perform the local logistics for all shipments

  • File the Pedimentos with the proper documents

  • Record Keeping.

  • Help on Investigate and solve the discrepancies between SAP and Vastera.

  • Review pedimentos for approval before payment.

  • Control of importations for special requirements

  • Review invoices for local transportation, Custom broker and vendors in general.

  • Import of chemicals, Rework, etc.

  • Return Raw Material to be due before the 18/36 month as applies.

  • Responsible of Pedimentos V1, A1, etc.

  • Add new part numbers into Vastera (complete information such as HTS Classification, description, BOM, etc.)

  • SAP and Vastera monthly reconciliation files

  • Inventory Control Machinery and Equipment AF

  • Monitoring of exportation and importation units on GPS (from the plant to delivery to DHL at Nogales, AZ& Control of security seals for export.

Qualifications:

Education level required

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, international business or similar.

Years and area of experience required

  • 1 year of experience in import/export department

  • 1 year of experience in domestics and international logistics and shipments.

  • Experience working with carriers (Mexico, USA, Canada, etc.) preferred

Technical knowledge

  • Knowledgeable in the regular shipping activities

  • Bilingual English/Spanish 60%"
