position will be accountable for the cost out performance for the indirect spend in scope, responsible to select suppliers for all Indirect categories, where no strategic supplier exists. Also will be key in the relationship building with key suppliers to leverage Eaton's purchases and reduce costs across defined scope.
What you'll do:
Change Management & Compliance: Implement and ensure compliance with regional solutions and supplier partners. Where regional solutions are unavailable, identify and establish local solutions that meet site needs while maintaining productivity and service levels.
Commodity Strategy Execution: Drive the execution and implementation of regional commodity strategies in line with established Master Service Agreements (MSA) with suppliers, ensuring the most effective Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
Strategic Project Support: Assist the Category Manager with a defined list of strategic EMEA projects, which may extend beyond country or site scope.
Sourcing Guidance: Provide sourcing guidance based on business needs for deploying tools and processes that integrate spend into the Central Indirect Team's portfolio.
Supplier Evaluation: Evaluate, benchmark, and select suitable local suppliers to generate significant productivity improvements and savings.
Supplier Agreements: Collaborate with Indirect Commodity Managers to create long-term local or regional supplier agreements and relationships that lead to optimal price reductions, quality improvements, process enhancements, and on-time delivery performance.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: University degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Supply Chain Management (SCM).
Skills:
Indirect Procurement: Experience in indirect procurement is a valuable asset.
Manufacturing Environment: Preference for candidates with a background in manufacturing.
French Market Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in the French market.
Negotiation & Leadership: Efficient negotiator with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Service Orientation: Highly service-oriented, ensuring top-notch support and satisfaction.
