What you'll do:
• Lead and develop Inventory Control Department; establish goals, objectives and deadlines
• Work closely with the warehouse staff to ensure process compliance
• Classify materials (Obsolete, Excess, POU)
• Support the continuous improvement strategy of the organization
• Maintain an inventory accuracy rate of at least 98% both physically and with the ERP systems
• Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of store physical inventories
• Oversee and coordinate inventory counts and yearly inventory audits.
• Own cycle count process and comply with daily cycle count schedule
• Manage and develop cycle count staff
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies within the warehouse
• Create and maintain standard work for material flow
• MRP Site Leader
• Perform other tasks as required
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain or Inventory
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work within the United States without company sponsorship
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or supply chain related field
• Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• 2+ years of Supply Chain Experience
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
• Experience with high volume databases and Spreadsheets
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• AS400 knowledge a plus
