    Position summary

    rder project.

    • Consult with engineers or managers on problems relating to a design or customer order project

    • Assist colleagues on shop floor in checking both for accuracy and adherence to established procedures.

    • Must be able to work individually or on teams.

    • Ability to maintain and meet deadlines provided by management.

    • Check work to assure conformance with Asheville Plant's quality standards.

    Qualifications:

    Required (Basic) Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree or higher in a technical field from an accredited institution required.

    • Prior experience in CAD (3D Modeling) required.

    • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

    • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Arden will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree or higher in an Engineering, Drafting, or related field preferred.

    • 2+ years of experience in CAD/3D Modeling preferred.

    Position Success Criteria:

    • Understanding of math, physics, machine design and electrical theory, understanding of CAD and basic drafting principles.

    • Must have knowledge and experience in problem solving and trouble shooting

    • Must be proficient with key computer programs - Microsoft Office, CAD, 3D modeling software, Internet, etc.

    • Must be able to work mandated/scheduled overtime which could include weekdays and weekends.

    • Must be able to work with diverse internal customers within a cross functional work environment
