• We are looking for motivated professionals with strong skills in new Product development for MCB (Minuature Circuit Breaker).Success in this position requires the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, strong motivation for pursuing project objectives and the ability to learn new techniques, Tools, Processes for new Product Development Cycle
  Candidate should be able to demonstrate following Responsibilities Design and Develop MCB, RCDs products meeting customer requirement, cost target and Market related technology.

• Coordinate with Global stakeholders and Drive project execution through Design, testing and implementation phase Technical ownership of the project. Ensure product compliance to global design standards like IEC, NEMA or any other compliance standard.

• Completes system / component sizing, modeling, and simulation to meet https://requirements.Modify existing products to support customer, manufacturing, applicable regulatory and industry standard, and market requirement through Change Management process."

• Demonstrated capability in design of MCB & accessories https://etc.Knowledge of low voltage switchgear standards in accordance to IEC/UL/CSA/CCC codes which will allow development of test plans.

• Experience in witnessing tests like Temperature rise , Short circuit , Make/Break, sequence tests per IEC60947, IEC60898-1 thereby estimating impact on product performance from changing material/components.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering in Mechanical / Electrical

• 9 - 14 years

• Minimum 8 Expereince in designing MCB, RCDs

• Experience working with cross functional teams within and outside organization to drive design objectives in sustaining products

• Experience through all stages of the prodcut development cycle

• Experience in short circuit, temperature rise, arc test in accordance with IEC/UL standards

• Hands on experience in product development leveraging DfX methodology

• Engineering technical expertise to solve problems and make design recommendations

• Proficient in CAD and PLM softwares

• Knowledge in Agile ProLaunch and PreLaunch processes

• Knowledge of Electromechanical Systems "

Skills:

Desired:
• Sound technical knowledge in design and development of MCB, RCDs
• Thorough understanding of IEC / IEEE standards, UL certification, 3D modelling , PLM, ERP system knowledge
• Extensive experience with product design , sustainance , cost out, agile methodologies
• Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing & painting, cabling, assembly processes"
