The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you'll do:
As a PIC Lead Field Engineer, the candidate will work primarily with customers on-site to perform diagnostics, and repairs on open, and enclosed Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) products. This will also include set-up and writing evaluation reports.
The position will be based in Menomonee Falls, WI, and require approximately 60% travel to domestic and international locations.
The field service engineer will also use the information learned to initiate root cause corrective actions to the Eaton factories and suppliers. This will be accomplished through leading and/or participating in proactive and reactive problem-solving teams, including the application of CQM, and six sigma problem solving tools.
The individual will plan and manage spare parts inventory that will be needed for field work and lab repairs.
Manage the customer interface to ensure that quality requirements which impact the ICD Division are met by all ICD manufacturing plants. Monitor and follow up on the process for the PIC technician to regularly engage with customers to drive continuous improvement in satisfaction measure.
The candidate will utilize proper documentation practices related to test plans, data collection, and detailed written test reports.
The position will assist PIC ICD lab activities, when possible, to support evaluations of contactors, starters, relays, direct source products, etc.
Continuous learning of the VFD and ICD products and technology.
Train and mentor team members.
Support customer DMRs.
Provide same day responses to internal and external customers with emergency requests.
Additional duties include:
Creating and updating work instructions for key processes.
Extract warranty data using PowerBI to summarize failure rates, costs, trends, and to identify emerging trends.
Establish effective warranty policies, tracking, analytics, and reporting (defect and cost data) to drive product line level improvements, contributing to Productivity goals. Support customer loss and legal claims.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
Experience and knowledge working with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and power distribution systems.
Ability to read schematic and knowledge of troubleshooting, test and repair techniques.
Bachelor's degree in electrical, Electromechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, or similar engineering careers from an accredited institution.
Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution.
Green Belt Certification.
Minimum1 year leadership experience.
Proficient in AutoCAD and others Engineering and design software programs.
Experience with technical and documentation specification interpretation.
Second language is a plus.
Computer skills: SharePoint, PowerBI, Microsoft Office.
Business system: MRP systems, Enovia and Vista.
Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written.
Ability to lead effectively in a matrix organization, in virtual teams (across different locations), and cross-cultural environments.
Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills and understanding of problem solving tools/methods (Six Sigma, 8D, etc), goal setting, and performance tracking.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally. Approximately 60% travel to domestic and international locations.
