for troubleshooting and analyzing complex control systems to resolve software and hardware problems.
• Responsible for troubleshooting mechanical issues or equipment failures.
• Responsible to participate in risk assessment events to reduce safety hazards in equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining maintenance logs and equipment documentation.
• Responsible for communicating equipment status as required.
• Monitor the compressed air systems within the production lines to ensure proper performance.
• You will be responsible for managing relationships with vendors such as electricians, plumbers, and other services required for facility projects.
• Assist in maintaining an in-house wastewater, chemicals handling, and spill program.
• Assist in performing inventory stock levels and placing orders for required materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhere to all facility EHS guidelines, encourage communication, and participate with co-workers to further identify, reduce, and eliminate potential hazards
Qualifications:
Minimum Experience Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Background in the maintenance of equipment and facilities
• Able to utilize hydraulic schematics, pneumatic schematics, and electrical schematics in troubleshooting scenarios.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of maintenance or relevant experience.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Windows-based software.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Eaton El Paso, TX facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in the electrical or mechanical maintenance field
• Program and maintain the software in Ladder (PLC) Assembly, HMI systems, and Basic languages.
• Two-year technical degree or certification in either electronics, electrical power and controls, fluid power, HVAC, or basic PLC programming
• Journeymen or three (3) years of documented maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade
• Licensed HVAC Technician, Plumber, and/or Electrician
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly operation
• Familiarity with wastewater treatment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of PLC electronic controls
• Basic bilingual skills in reading, arithmetic, and writing.

• Understanding of electrical/electronic systems.
• Experience and knowledge of tools, common applications, and devices (hand tools, multimeters, measurement devices, etc.)
