We are seeking an experienced Partnerships Industrialization Engineer to join our team in Ankara, Turkey.
What you'll do:
The ESS EMEA Partnerships Industrialization Engineer is responsible to ensure proper industrialization of MV systems at partners as well as embedding product lifecycle management, supporting, planning and executing long term maintenance and new product development collaborations to ensure a healthy technical evolution of partnerships in line with partnership objectives. The execution of activities in the role depend on the needs of the specific partnership and requires alignment and close collaboration with Eaton's plants, product lines and the ESS EMEA partnerships team. As part of the mid. to long term evolution of partnerships the ESS EMEA Partnerships Industrialization engineer is the go-to person to provide technical support and resolve technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate the partnership objectives into a technical localization plan
Drive panel builder product localization and validation process
Develop product partnership localization requirements, eg. parts kitting and instructions.
Review and manage risks of localization
Support transfer of engineering and manufacturing knowledge to partners
Create BOM's and handover documentation and checklists using CAD and PLM tools
Support partners with product knowledge and trainings
Create localized process documentation like work instructions, visual instructions and quality checklists
Maintain active communication and alignment with panel builder technical roles
Review new local market initiatives for technical developments
Technical support for production ramp up of pilot and large projects at our partners
Qualifications:
Bachelor or higher mechanical or industrial engineering degree
5 years of experience in an international organization with proven industrial expertise
Skills:
Knowledge of product development and industrialization processes and CAD and PLM software tools
Experience making planning milestones and coordinating activities
Knowledge and experience in the area of electrical systems, MV products
substations/ modular builds experience is a plus
Experience working in an industrial environment working with external partnerships is a plus
Knowledge of Eaton MV product portfolio, electrical application understanding
Intercultural awareness
English (verbally and in writing)
Good technical communication skills with the experience working with people in a product management, engineering and operations background
Self-motivated, accepts ownership for results, takes initiative
Ability to coordinate and collaborate with people w/o reporting relationships
Drive to solve problems in a matrix team environment and leading with high energy and a positive attitude
