Position summary

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all customer demands and requests are effectively planned into the Volume Manufacturing schedule.

  • Define and maintain a 'fit-for-purpose' planning process to suit the Manufacturing process with respect to changes in capacity and lead- time.

  • Liaise with Sales giving accurate delivery dates and feedback on potential delays.

  • Build and maintain an ongoing relationships with major OEM customers in order to understand their product and delivery requirements.

  • Analyse output from planning tools with regard to inventory movements and capacity constraints.

  • Understand key operational constraints with regards to capacity, through put times, test times and materials availability, and to modify the planning process accordingly.

  • Control the product plan ensuring product mix/volumes are maximized to improve efficiency without large inventory increases.

  • Coordinate phasing out of material related to product being made obsolete ensuring stock of non-required material is minimized.

  • Participate in improvement meetings in order to identify and implement changes that will benefit the performance and organization of the manufacturing cell.

  • Contribute , be involved and actively support the continuous improvement process within every facet of the Customer Order process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Very good command of English language
  • 2+years experience of working in planning, preferable within electronics.
  • ERP Knowledge (preferable SAP)
