Senior Engineer- Product certification

ike SGS, UL, CSA, FM, BIS and PESO for the approvals.
• Work on Hazardous location Certification as per EN 60079-0, EN 60079-1, EN 60079-11, EN60079-18 & EN 60079-7.
• Idependently review and support the team on CE- LVD assessment reports for sustain, new and support for products from group companies as per EN 61643, EN 62368-1, EN 61010-1, EN 61010-2-201.
• Coordinate product testing activities and review the reports in the type testing laboratories (EMC, Surge and Env. Test) before the Certification.
• Develops procedures and process to setup and sustain the laboratories.
• Good understanding on Surge and EMC standards
• CE-LVD assessments as per UL1449, EN 61643-11, EN 6143-21, EN 61643-31, EN 62368-1.
Independently / Work "

Qualifications:

B.E/B.Tech in Electronics/ Mechanical /Electrical & Electronics
8-10 Years of Experience on Certification and Testing for Industrial Products, into Hazardous Areas.

Skills:

"High Competency:

• Working experience and able to independently work on product Certification for products which goes into Hazardous Areas.
• Working experience on IEC 60079 series of standards.
• Good knowledge on the EU LVD Directive and related standards.
• Testing skills like functional & environmental type tests and reliability testing.
• Support and Review LVD assessment and test products for compliance.
• Good technical expertise on working with external agencies like SGS, UL, CSA, FM etc.,
• Able to develop SOPs and review the test reports.
  Medium Competency:
• Working experience on North American approvals (Ordinary Location and (or) Haz. Locations).
• Exposure on the products related to Surge protection and Process control instrumentation."
