    Position summary

    • Implements process improvements to enhance quality, reduce variability, improve cycle times, and increase equipment uptime and OEE.
    • Designs and deploys gauges, fixtures, tools, and automation solutions to support product quality and operational efficiency.
    • Collaborates with Product Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Production to resolve process discrepancies, non-conformances, or equipment issues.
    • Applies engineering tools such as DOE, SPC, Pareto, PFMEA, MSA, capability studies, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
    • Leads introduction of new equipment, tooling, technology, or manufacturing lines-including installation, start-up, validation, and stabilization.
    • Identifies and executes Cost-Out opportunities through material optimization, process redesign, cycle time reduction, and automation enhancements.
    • Provides advanced troubleshooting support for issues related to equipment, tooling, materials, parameters, automation, and process stability.
    • Recommends improvements to production methods, machine capability, workflows, and resource utilization to enhance departmental efficiency.
    • Develops and delivers technical training for equipment operators, technicians, and other engineering stakeholders. #LI-AR7

    Qualifications:

    Education level required

    • BS in Engineering in Mechanic or Electrical

    Years and area of experience required

    • 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment involving processes such as molding, welding, stamping, machining, assembly, or automation

    Technical knowledge

    • Manufacturing process development and optimization

    • Tooling, fixtures, and equipment troubleshooting

    • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, DOE, PFMEA, SPC

    • Project Management

    • Automation systems and robotics (preferred)

    • CAD/CAM for reading and interpreting drawings

    • Knowledge of materials, tolerances, and manufacturing methods across multiple technologies
