What you'll do:

Job summary

In this role, you are going to plan and perform testing of Energy storage systems and UPS grid interactive features while developing the test methods and test capability. Your responsibilities will also include the development of the laboratory to function effectively while following correct procedures and health and safety guidelines.

Job responsibilities

• Test planning, building of test setups, testing these systems and documenting the test results.

• Development of test processes, requirements and documentation.

• Test Automation development, writing test scripts and test procedures.

• Provide technical support to other functions.

• Overseeing safety and condition of laboratory equipment.

• Cooperation with Eaton test organizations around the world.

• Follow requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 2005 (General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories)

Qualifications:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in (Power) Electronics or embedded software

• Solid working experience in electrical testing and/or design

• Electrical system knowledge: Energy storage installations and safety.

• Understanding of embedded firmware.

• Familiar with common tools and methods to work in high power lab environment: oscilloscope, power analyzer and meters

• Self-motivated, self-managed, team-oriented, proactive, task oriented, and able to overcome obstacles to meet schedule requirements.
