Manage FIFIs program
6 Administration of chemicals MSDS, magagement of registration of new chemicals.
7 Interacts and works as a legal liason with Municial, state and Federal dependencies (Civil protection, PROFEPA, Fireguard, SEMARNAT, IMSS, STPS,etc) to ensure 100% compliance with official regulations and requirements.
8 Responsible for graphs of enviaromental performance and waste generation and updating MESH PRISM.
9 Works with leadership team and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for EHS country, state, and local regulations.
10 Work together with the EHS Site Manager and Site Staff in the Facilitates risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects.
11 Prepare the investigation of accidents, first aid for those that occur in areas assigned, define root cause and preventive actions corrective actions together with the team to eliminate the root cause and avoid recurrence.
12 Supports risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects.
13 Implementation of Projects to improve EHS performance
14 Ensure compliance with the Life saving rules 100% for all employees
15 Responsible for the Security area and co- responsible for C-TPAT compliance.
16 Drives and promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site.
EHS Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Engineering chemical, Industrial, Environmental, EHS, or similar.
3-5 years of experience in EHS, including knowledge on STPS, SEMARNAT and OSHAS regulation.
EHS Systems and Knowledge.
Recognition and Evaluation of EHS Risks.
Risk Control and Communication.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Knowledge of Legal Regulations, Dependency Requirements.
