Manage inventory to achieve monthly plant financial targets and satisfy customer demand.
Assign delivery dates based on customer requirements and process time, available capacities, and availability of raw material.
Print drawings and create job packets from SAP output for use by the floor as required. Ensure job packets are handled and released to the floor according to standard and policy.
Review MO closure reports to keep accurate records.
Serves as member of the salaried team and provides support as necessary to achieve local, division, and corporate initiatives and objectives.
Assist in annual physical inventory and cycle counting processes and activities. Evaluate results of physical inventories and update all records and schedules affected.
Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton's goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement.
Act as resource to junior members of the production planning staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and 3 years of ERP system experience OR Highschool diploma and 7 years ERP system experience.
Authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of Highland, IL. will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field from an accredited institution.
5 plus years previous working experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes as well as special processes.
Full knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic.
