Extensive knowledge of the Market area is a must for this opportunity. The position's primary objective is to optimize sales volume, product mix and profit margin. Specific functions include Drive increase in sales in the marketplace, Management and development in customer relationships, Providing sales and technical assistance to distributors, customers, end users, and specifier, Develop a proven record of achieving assigned sales quota, Develop and implement sales plans, Responsiveness to market conditions and competitive activities, Communicate market conditions to Eaton product divisions, leaders and peers. Role also includes to be cooperative and have credible working relationship with other company employees to assure customer satisfaction as well as Managing expense allowances and submit expense reports in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Account Management:
• Manage prospects, maintain and improve key customer relationships
• Part of NAS responsible for RFI, RFP, and RFQ responses for EATON ELECTRICAL solutions related to Energy Transition
• Provide effective communication and report out market and customer dynamics and growth opportunities in the space to internal and external stakeholders.
Technical Sales
• Engage Partner team and Prospects in technical sales aspects of EATON ELECTRICAL 's solutions
• Prepare and present bids and quotations to customers using company price and delivery guidelines, and use sound business judgment to enhance margins
• Collect, analyze, and utilize market intelligence regarding competitive products, customer needs, preferences, and buying habits
• Site walks, project scoping, quotation and order management/execution for Energy Transition customers.
• Energy Transition Electrical BOS equipment and EVCI system knowledge
• Interact with design and build partners for project development and deployment
Channel & Partner Sales
• Relationship building and developing channel programs to Partner's Sales, Marketing and Executive teams; nurture long term collaborative channel partnership
• Annual Growth Plan for direct sales, channel, and partner sales
Sales training to Partner teams
Business Development
• Grow and develop new sales and new customers in the Energy Transition space.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum (3) years of electrical industry experience
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
• No relocation assistance will be provided for this role. Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of either of Franklin, MA; Windsor, CT; or Mountainside, NJ. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Previous electrical industry sales experience
Skills:
• Strong work ethic, great interpersonal skills, competitiveness, and willingness to learn, as well as be adept at building relationships
• Knowledge of Power Distribution and control products, market knowledge, established customer relationships within the market area
• Good time management, presentation/training skills, planning skills, value added selling, teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $117,000 - 171,600.00
Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
