    Position summary

    ed by lower material costs, responsive supplier performance, process and service improvements, and resultant productivity throughout the supply chain.

    • Lead the supplier market analysis and ensure supplier qualification for RFQ's

    • Lead a team of direct and matrixed procurement professionals motivating them to achieve the supply chain department metrics.

    • Facilitate and execute cost reduction projects.

    • Lead negotiations for site-specific projects.

    • Evaluate cost reduction projects which are developed by colleagues.

    • Assist other department process owners (Engineering, Production, Operations, and Finance) in identifying and prioritizing opportunities to improve productivity, cost, quality and service throughout the external supply chain.

    • Assure that materials are procured at the lowest total cost, per specifications, in an efficient manner and delivered on time.

    • Evaluates procurement methods and recommends/implements new procedures, strategies, and /or suppliers.

    • Led Cost-Out events.

    • Key Performance metrics include but are not limited to:

      • Achieve Sourcing Savings and cost competiveness goals
      • Supplier On Time Delivery
      • Source and implement to reach the Resiliency goal
      • Implement VMI and Consigment programs
      • Supplier PPM Quality
      • Minimizing Material Inflation Impact
      • Supplier Lead time
      • Payment terms improvement and other responsiveness measures as appropriate.
    • Drives cost out projects to result in savings to the bottom line.

    • Manage and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.

    • Ensure compliance to all purchasing policies and exhibit excellent Ethical behavior.

    Qualifications:

    Education level required

    • Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

    • Preferred Qualifications: A Master in Business Administration, Finance or Productivity.

    Years and area of experience required

    • 5 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement/Supply Chain.
    • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management.
    • Proven capabilites of leadership of project teams.

    Technical knowledge

    • Proficient in Project Management methodologies.
    • Knowledge of PPAP Validation processes
    • Negotiation skills
    • Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
    • Knowledge on legal contracts negotiations and risk management

    • Excellent communication skills are a must (both Spanish & English)
