    Position summary

    area is driven by strong business growth and the demand for systems that ensure business continuity. Situated in a prime location next to the Helsinki airport, the Vantaa facility will serve as Eaton's Critical Power Solutions headquarters and a center of excellence for data centers.

    What you'll do:

    As a Validation Engineer Trainee, you will:

    • Perform testing of UPS units and systems

    • Develop the laboratory to function effectively while following correct procedures and health and safety guidelines

    • Build test setups, test these systems and document the test results

    • Develop processes and documentation

    • Provide technical support to other functions

    • Oversee safety and condition of laboratory equipment

    • Follow requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 2017 (General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories)

    Qualifications:

    • You are a B.Sc. or Master's student in Electrical Engineering, with at least 1 year of experience in electronics or electrical installations

    • Electrical system knowledge: UPS installations and safety

    • Understanding of embedded firmware

    • Familiar with common tools and methods to work in high power lab environment, such as: oscilloscope, power analyzer and meters

    • Self-motivated, self-managed, team-oriented, proactive, task oriented
