    The Carrier Operations Performance Specialist will support the evaluation and onboarding of programs aligned with the organization’s mission, vision and values that create new revenue opportunities through partnerships with our carriers and create new, internal opportunities to increase operational efficiencies. This position will work cross functionally internally and externally to accomplish goals and objectives. 
     

    Attributes we are seeking:

    You have a strong financial acumen with a proven ability to perform complex financial analysis as well as generating models to support strategic initiatives, such as, but not limited to margin improvement analysis, portfolio optimization, annual operating plans, cost analysis and more. You are skilled in project coordination with an ability to ensure projects and operations are tightly managed and executed within desired delivery dates. You have great interpersonal skills and will easily build and cultivate relationships with eHealth’s extensive portfolio of insurance carriers. You effectively use processes and data to measure and communicate program success to internal partners and key stakeholders. You regularly add your voice to the formation of our strategy for accomplishing company carrier partner goals and objectives. 
     

    How you will make an impact:

    • Bring a strong financial acumen that allows you to perform complex financial analysis that will include development of deal pricing, cost models and structures and the ability to convey key information to business partners throughout the organization to help them understand financial results and complex reports.
    • Develop leading and lagging KPIs to measure and track program performance.
    • Provide strategic, analytical and problem-solving support, along with presenting financial research and analyses findings and providing recommendations.
    • Manage partner opportunities by driving financial outcomes.
    • Assist in the development of a series of carrier program reporting and deliver results on a regular basis to team and other relevant stakeholders. 
    • Create streamlined processes through participation in cross-functional teams that enable our internal stakeholders to meet carrier deliverables in a timely manner.
    • Coordinate projects to execute on carrier programs through partnership with carrier sales and service teams. 
    • Meet and/or exceed project management goals tied to strategic carrier programs.
    • Execute/implement on carrier business development agreements.  
    • Participate in workgroups as a subject matter expert to support achievement of company goals and objectives. 

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 5+ years’ experience working as a Financial Analyst, Project Manager, Account Manager, or Strategic Account Manager.
    • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience in client services and customer success
    • Experience in call center analytics
    • Limited travel required
    • BA/BS degree
       

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Account Management/Operations/Project Management experience
    • Analytical mindset, ability to identify trends and draw insight from structured and unstructured data
    • Background in business systems analysis/business process a plus
    • Outstanding organization and time management skills
    • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent team player
