    eHealth connects people with quality, affordable health insurance through a proprietary marketplace offering Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Part D prescription drug, individual, family, small business, and ancillary plans from 200 health insurance carriers nationwide. As part of eHealth’s transformation, we are seeking a Sr. Manager, Medicare Consumer Marketing to design and orchestrate the delivery of eHealth’s direct to consumer Medicare Supplement marketing strategy.

    This person will define and grow eHealth’s creative and content strategy, demand generation and retention through omni-channel campaigns targeted at our Medicare Supplement and ancillary product lines**.**  Reporting to the Director of Medicare Consumer Marketing, this person will bring an analytical skill set with a focus on driving profitable business growth, increasing customer acquisition, and maximizing ROI by driving down customer acquisition cost (CAC) while building a distinct brand that provides unique consumer and stakeholder value.

    The Sr. Medicare Consumer Marketing Manager will be customer-obsessed.  They will take an audience-first approach to planning. Finding the most motivating & relevant messaging for each customer segment. Possess an intellectual curiosity to challenge status quo with creative new ideas and modern marketing practices and demonstrate a track record of delivering superior results. In addition, this person will collaboratively shape and advance the multi-channel consumer journey, successfully move work forward by leading cross-functional delivery teams, and have a passion for contributing to an exceptional team culture.

    The Sr. Medicare Consumer Marketing Manager will oversee a dedicated paid media budget for our Medicare Supplement audience and can be based anywhere in the US.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create an effective audience-first direct to consumer lead generation capability to drive sales of Medicare Supplement, Medicare Part D and Dental, Hearing & Vision health plans through both the on-line ecommerce platform and the telesales organization.
    • Experience with omni-channel campaigns (DRTV, OOH, Direct Mail, Digital |Social, SEM).
    • Orchestrate delivery teams to deploy coordinated cross-channel campaigns on time and budget. Kicking off campaigns, building project roadmaps, hosting weekly status and performance updates, driving the work forward across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
    • Direct cross-functional teams of internal and agency channel experts to drive profitable growth of performance marketing channels, with strategies that optimize core channel growth while testing expansion into new channels.
    • Oversee development of an omnichannel audience strategy, leveraging research to create a deep understanding of the unique consumer needs as well as partner with data science for advanced targeting models.
    • Revamp our Medicare Supplement direct to consumer media mix, leveraging a new multi-touch attribution marketing mix modeling.
    • Develop an updated creative platform and differentiated value propositions.
    • Partner with product to create an industry-leading, friction-less experience that drives improved conversion and engagement.
    • Partner with customer service and sales to glean insight on needs and pain points that could be addressed in marketing to enhance conversion and retention.
    • Create processes to ensure constant adherence to industry and regulatory standards.
    • Lead audience research and analysis to develop a pipeline of actionable insights and initiatives for marketing and product experience teams.

    Ideal Experience:

    • Deep understanding of and proven track record of driving growth in a direct-to-consumer business.
    • 5+ years of integrated consumer and brand marketing.
    • Demonstrated successful performance and results in the health care sector (Medicare experience preferred).
    • Track record of efficiently deploying a performance marketing budget that continuously drives growth against ROI and LTV.
    • Demonstrated strength using analytics to drive business decisions.
    • Proven track record and accountability for achieving quarterly results.
    • Experience building successful, productive cross-functional relationships.
    • Experience and comfort working in an entrepreneurial environment, operating at a fast pace and fluid nature to adapt the changing needs of the consumer, the regulatory environment and the business.
